Three things that I have learned so far on this trip

Do you know why raspberries have a hole in the top? Flora and Lazzy (and I'm guessing Jules, although I have not seen him do it) like to put a raspberry on each of their fingers and then eat them off. It's adorable - but I never thought about why the berries come with a hole.

Here's what I learned: There is a piece of the fruit that is attached to the stem, and it comes out of the berry. Who knew???

I learned to say "Parlez à moi si j'étais un enfant." This means "Talk to me as if I were a child." I figure that I have a better chance of understanding if someone talks to me like I'm a four-year-old... easier words, more slowly, you know... Will let you know if it works.
