Morning routine

I tend to rise earlier than anyone here. So I have taken on a few duties, such as being the person who goes to the boulangerie/patisserie each morning to pick up our bread for the day. This is not a chore. The hard part is deciding what to come back with each morning.

This is the place, maybe 4 km away.

These are the bread options. All of them are superb.

These are the pastry items. So far, all of these are damned good also.

Then I bring my purchases back to the house and lay out breakfast. And try things before anyone else is up. Sometimes twice.
