Last day at La Giro

We leave tomorrow for parts south of here, so today was our last day at La Giro. We had a bit of a lazy day (in fact, Dan slept until about 11 AM, having not slept last night), and spent time washing clothes, packing, and planning the next few days.

Tomorrow, our destination is Sarlat. It's about five hours south, so we will head out in the morning with a planned stop in Angoulême. Hopefully we will find lunch, since it's Sunday and places tend to close for the afternoon. WE MIGHT STARVE!!!

😁

We had fun zooming last night with our friends, Doug and Pam. We started at 10 PM, when it was still light. It's still pretty amazing that it stays light so late here. (Currently, at 10:33 PM, it is dusk, and I'm hoping to see the bats take off from above our window.)

In other news, Cody's girlfriend Autumn completed her optometry residency yesterday, so she is officially official! We are excited that she will begin her "real" professional life soon, and they will be staying in GRR.
